  1. 1949Donald W. Dunlope & his wife Glenda founded Dunlope Funeral Home in Wintersville, Ohio at 215 Fernwood Rd.
  2. 1950Hoff Funeral Home was founded by Donald & Darlene Hoff.
  3. 1895D.F. Coe established a funeral home on North Fifth Street (roots of McClave Funeral Home).
  4. 1906Ira C. McClave joined the Coe Funeral Home as an apprentice funeral director and embalmer on November 5.
  5. 1915The business moved to what was the W.H. Lowe residence on Market Street on September 1.
  6. 1924McClave and F.D. Hennesy bought the Coe Funeral Home January 1.
  7. 1928McClave assumed full ownership, with the funeral home renamed McClave Funeral Home.
  8. 1939Operations were moved to 611 North Fourth Street.
