Hughes Funeral Home is a family owned and operated funeral home located at exit 11 on Puryear Drive in Paducah, Kentucky, serving the Purchase Area. Owner Rick Hughes grew up near the site as a child and brings a network of family and friends, along with years of skill and knowledge, to the home. The home has served area families for years and says it is an honor to be part of the community's history.
Cremation is performed one person at a time in the cremation chamber. A metal disk with a unique ID number accompanies each person from the time the home receives them through cremation, and it is attached to the bag containing the ashes. Families can also complete an online preplanning form that covers visitation, funeral service, and burial or cremation choices.
