What the law says
- P.L. 2025, c. 143 was approved September 11, 2025 and takes effect on the first day of the tenth month after enactment, which is July 1, 2026 (P.L. 2025, c. 143, § 7).
- A natural organic reduction facility is a secure space within a registered mortuary or on registered mortuary property (P.L. 2025, c. 143, § 1).
Effective date: July 1, 2026.
